Alamo Placita Neighborhood
Association
Boundaries: 6th/7th Ave to Speer,
Downing to Pennsylvania
One of the best things about Arlington
Park is the close community and friendly neighborhood
“feel.” The Alamo Placita Neighborhood
Association, an all volunteer group, formed in 1984.
APNA worked to gain historic designation for the neighborhood
and continues efforts to preserve its unique character.
In addition, APNA sponsors several great community
events throughout the year including the Cottonwood
Festival in the spring and the annual Night Out.
