Did you know...The floors of buildings are called "stories" because early European builders used to paint picture stories on the sides of their houses? Each floor had a different story...

Just like literature, our life stories have many twists and turns. For me, the story began on a horse farm in Virginia and led to teaching History and English in both Virginia and Colorado. When I moved to Denver, I immediately recognized the unique appeal and character of our central neighborhoods--moving first to Washington Park and later to the Arlington Park neighborhood. I joined Leonard Leonard and Associates because of its fantastic team approach and emphasis on the older historic neighborhoods of Denver that I love.

Both real estate and teaching require strong communication ability, deep knowledge of your subject, and the desire to help people achieve their goals. Our homes are the setting for so many of our life stories. Whether your real estate goal is to buy or to sell, I can help you create the perfect end (or beginning!) to your story!

Rave Reviews

From a process that I once deemed too overwhelming to even get involved with to one of the more simple, satisfying engagements I've been involved in, Jennifer Collins was nothing less then perfect for a guy who didn't know if it was time to buy or run for the hills. From day one Jennifer was more than willing to take the time to explain things to me - down to the very last detail. Questions I thought would make me look stupid were answered with care and put in terms I could understand. The leg work that Jennifer went through to help get me my first house was beyond the call of duty. She truly is a one of kind - she will be my realtor for life...

Sincerely ,

To Whom It May Concern:

In the spring of 2003, my wife and I contracted with Ms. Jennifer Collins to assist us in the sale of the house of my recently deceased mother. Jennifer’s high level of professionalism, her positive and enthusiastic personality combined with her care and empathy for our situation made her an easy choice. My wife and I knew fairly quickly that Jennifer would be great to work with, would do her best for us, and would provide the care and support necessary as my wife and I worked through getting the property ready.

Jennifer recommended several cosmetic improvements to the property and then also offered to “Project Manage” these activities. I cannot adequately express the sense of relief and gratitude that my wife and I had with respect to this. We were having a difficult enough time just getting the house cleared of its contents and ready for sale and the thought of us having to potentially manage the contractors involved in doing this was highly unappealing. Jennifer’s actions in this area were far above and beyond what we could have hoped for.

Jennifer worked hard and diligently to ensure that all of the work was competed to our satisfaction and on schedule. The property was listed and contracted within just a few days and was closed as scheduled to our complete satisfaction. Thanks Jennifer!

Sincerely,
R.E.

Volunteering in New Orleans' 9th Ward
After Hurricane Katrina

In November 2006, only 15 months following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the National Association of Realtors was the first major group to hold a conference in New Orleans. Over the course of 4 days, hundreds of people worked in City Park, libraries, schools, and in building projects in the catastrophically hit 9th Ward. We worked building houses with Habitat for Humanity's Musician's Village project, spearheaded by Harry Connick Jr., and Wynton Marsalis. The goal of the project is to provide affordable housing for the many musicians who lost their homes in the storm...
