This is the neighborhood that I chose
as my home over 20 years ago! It is All-American and
I tell everyone that it is like a very attractive
small town in the middle of a very big city.
In North Country Club we walk our children
to the local neighborhood schools, Bromwell and Dora
Moore. Watch for the school house tours for both these
schools in the fall each year. These FUNd raiser house
tours feature some of the loveliest homes in the neighborhood
and it is a worthy cause in which thousands of dollars
are raised to pay for "extras" at each school.
We enjoy tree-lined parkways with hundred
year old trees.
The architecture here is a wonderful
variety of many styles, shapes and sizes. We are home
to the charming small park called Little Cheesman
Park and are proud that much of our area is included
in the 7th Avenue Historic
District.
