Denver's Architectural Styles

Denver Old House Society
Denver's Old House Society is a new nonprofit dedicated to educating owners of old (50+ years) houses and helping them protect their neighborhoods.

It is sometimes tricky talking about style as long established terms such as Tudor, Victorian and Colonial refer essentially to historical and political periods and tell little about a building’s appearance. But as I am not a purist, I am going to speak briefly about the “styles” as they relate to terms commonly referred to in Denver’s architecture community and the “styles” that I have chosen to discuss are the ones that I find contribute most to Denver’s diverse fabric.
